THIS IS MY Journey
Bai Tong, the resilient elephant, began her life on the streets of Surin, where she begged for survival. Later, she found hersel f working at an elephant trekking camp in Pattaya. However, amidst the pandemic, we made the decision to rescue her and bring her to the nurturing embrace of our Samui Elephant Kingdom.
Today, Bai Tong finds joy in living alongside a large herd, yet her bossy nature reveals her longing to be a leader. While she may be particular about her food choices, showing a preference for bana nas and an aversion to pumpkin, she eagerly devours as many bananas as she can find.
Each morning, Bai Tong serenades her mahout with her beautiful voice, playfully awakening them to greet the new day. Her spirited presence adds a touch of magic and charisma to the Samui Elephant Kingdom, reminding us of the strength and resilience that resides within her remarkable soul.
